Conditions of Entry
  • Do obey the laws of the land. Drugs are no more legal at a festival than in the outside world. Drug dealing and consumption will not be tolerated. The Knowsley Social has zero tolerance for legal highs.
  • No Alcohol or liquids of any kind (hand sanitiser permitted in max.50ml bottle)
  • No drugs including ‘legal highs’
  • No knives or weapons
  • No aerosols, sprays or pressurised containers permitted
  • No Glass
  • No Umbrellas
  • Admission is subject to search
  • No under 18’s (unless specifically at an advertised children’s event)
  • No food
  • No perfumes or aftershaves
  • No dogs
  • No flares or fireworks
  • No bikes
  • No re-entry
  • No rucksacks or large bags (small bags (that are not rucksacks) are allowed into the festival with the dimensions W21cm x H30CM x D8cm (A4 Size)).
  • No Selfie-Sticks

If you arrive with any of the above items you will usually be able to dispose of it/them at the gate. No items left at the gate will be able to be collected once the customer has left the gate area.

Items surrendered at the gate can be disposed of immediately.

Management reserve the right to refuse admission

Please note valid I.D. is required upon entry.

Accepted forms of I.D. are:

– in date passport

– in date driving license (provisional accepted)

– in date citizen card

What age do you need to be to attend The Knowsley Social?

Kids Shows

  • All under 16s must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder (aged 18 or over) who must remain on site throughout the event as the under 16-year-old’s guardian.
  • Maximum one adult per 3 under 18s.
  • It is the responsibility of a child’s guardian to determine whether a show is suitable for their viewing.

All other shows

  • Challenge 25 in operation at all events.
  • Valid photo ID is required to gain entry to any event.
Where is The Knowsley Social?

The Knowsley Social is taking place in the grounds of the internationally renowned Knowsley Estate on land adjacent to Knowsley Safari.

You will access The Knowsley Social via the Safari park’s main entrance which is in Prescot, Merseyside, on the A58 bypass. We are just off the M57, less than 30 minutes away from Liverpool and just 45 minutes away from Manchester.

Once you arrive at this postcode the pick-up and drop off point, along with the car park will be clearly signed. Our friendly stewards will also be on hand to direct you to the arena.

When arriving on site please ensure to follow our COVID secure procedures – including wearing a mask until you arrive at your POD, keeping vehicle windows closed until you are safely parked/dropped off in the allotted car park/pick up and drop off and maintaining social distancing of a minimum of 1m until you arrive in your allocated POD.

What’s the best way to get to The Knowsley Social?

Download the Britannia Cars App on iPhone or Android and utilise our official transport partner to get yourself to the event. You can also call them on 0151 7087080 to book in advance if you’d prefer.

Do I need to pre-book transport for the end of the event?

There is no need to book in advance to get picked up from the event! A manned secure pickup point will be available with our official transport partner Britannia cars with quick prompt service to get you home safely.

Is there going to be parking available at the festival?

Yes. Parking is available on site free of charge.

Can I leave the event site and come back (i.e are there pass-outs)?

No. We operate a no pass outs system in order to ensure the safety of everybody at the event.

What additional facilities/perks will I get with a VIP ticket?

If you purchase a VIP pod, then the other members of your party and you will enjoy:

  • Higher Quality Washroom facilities
  • Preferential POD positioning – front 5 rows of the arena
  • Exclusive express lane entry to the event
Can I bring my own alcohol and food into the event?

No. Due to Health and Safety guidance, we are unable to permit any food or drink to be brought in from outside the event.

A high quality and varied food and beverage option will be available on site.

If I have purchased a POD of 6, do I have to bring 6 people?

Of course not. Each POD has enough space to seat 6 people and for 6 people to stand and dance etc. if there is less than 6 people in your party then that’s fine, but we’re sure you can find enough people who want to join you!

All members of your party need to gain admission to the event at the same time.

How do I order drinks when I’m at the event?

Beverage services at the event will be operated through an on-site QR code.

Can I pre-order drinks before the event?
  • Registering for your account is quick and easy, head over to It will also give you access to our pre-ordering system so we can have your food and drinks ready to collect when you arrive.
  • If you utilise our pre-ordering system then you will receive a 10% discount on all purchases above £50.
Can I use cash at the event?

No. We will not be accepting cash at we will be operating a table service system for all food and beverage sales so all payments will be required to go through our online system.

Can I bring an SLR camera into the event?

Unfortunately, not. No professional video, audio or photography equipment is permitted at the event. Unless you have been successful in gaining a press pass for the event.

Will my POD be pre-allocated?

No, POD numbers will be allocated to groups upon arrival to the event. Please ensure that all members of your party arrive together. Once in your POD you will simply scan a QR code to sync your POD number to your online ordering account and you are ready to go!

Will face coverings and hand sanitisers be provided?

Face coverings will NOT be provided, but you are required to wear a face covering whist moving around the arena. There will be numerous hand sanitiser stations positioned throughout the arena so ticket holders can regularly ensure their hands are clean.

Will I need be tested for COVID-19?

No. However, if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 you must not attend the event. Failure to comply with these measures could result in you being ejected from the event.

Will the toilets be cleaned regularly?

Yes. Our dedicated-on site cleaning team will have the sole responsibility of keeping all of the facilities on site sanitised. Toilets will be cleaned periodically during each show.

Will each viewing pod be cleaned after each show?

Yes. After each show the entire event arena will be subject to all normal cleaning procedures as well as COVID specific misting and cleaning processes.

How will you ensure that Social Distancing is being practised?

Ensuring the safety of customers and staff is at the forefront of our operation.

Our dedicated COVID stewards will operate throughout the event site for the duration of each show. They will ensure that customers and staff are adhering to our COVID secure procedures at all times, including social distancing.

Will the viewing pods be wheelchair friendly?

Yes. Viewing pods will be accessible for wheelchair users.
